This morning I give you a recipe that I improvised the other night, when I prepared the turkey leg with porcini mushrooms. The recipe is very simple, even if the turkey requires at least an hour of cooking, but it's worth it. Porcini mushrooms enhance the delicate flavor of turkey meat. How to make turkey leg with porcini mushrooms
Soften the porcini mushrooms in warm water for about 20 minutes, then squeeze them and keep them aside.
In a fairly large saucepan, sauté the onion cut into slices in a knob of butter and a tablespoon of oil.
Rinse the turkey leg and brown it for about 10 minutes in the saucepan with the onions.
Add the squeezed mushrooms, chopped sage, salt and pepper and blend with the white wine.
Cover the mushroom leg with the hot broth. Cover and cook for at least 1 hour.
When cooked, lift the leg and place it on a serving plate, then reduce the mushroom sauce.
Now cover the turkey leg with the sauce, decorate the dish with sage leaves and bring to the table.
